One of my earliest memory of the historic City Hall area was when I attended my first NDP at the Padang during my school days. To be able to see the mobile column and sing the National anthem there gave me goosebumps.
Fast forward to Singapore's 50th Birthday this year, and I'm fortunate enough to be able to relive that experience again - this time with my kids! I was really glad to have been able to share this memory with them and it's something I will cherish for a long time to come.
