It is Day 20 of Myanmar under the military coup. This is the third coup that has happened since the British gave up power in 1948 and as a country, we are pretty worn out. Our country’s infrastructures are not designed for prolonged fighting especially in the middle of a pandemic.
We have extremely fragile banking, transportation, and medical systems in place even before the coup and pandemic. I dare not to imagine what the future holds for the country after everything is over. How do we begin again? How do we regain the trust of foreign investors? And trust that the military would not go rogue again? These are all the questions that keep us awake at night.
We do not have any answers right now — because we are living moments by moments. As a middle-class citizen in Myanmar, I have a safety net during these times. I have a roof over my head and three meals a day which the majority of the civil servants on strike are risking. These people are the real troopers and it is time we realize that real heroes are always the ones in disguise. And I question myself every night if I could give up everything in my life to fight a war?
Before February 1st, we had so many dreams simply because we could. We dare to dream of futures in which every citizen lives above the poverty lines — it is a difficult thing but at least we were working towards it. We had dreams to fight COVID-19 and open up businesses again. And the dream that our voices were being heard through the democratically elected representatives.
I grew up under a military dictatorship and moved to the States for college at 18. After spending a couple of years in the “land of the free,” I tasted freedom. There were a few restrictions on personal freedom when I moved back to Myanmar in 2017 since it was still a quasi-civilian government. On February 1st, 2021, all my personal rights were stripped away without any proper cause. How do they expect us to go back into the dark after tasting freedom? We are put under martial laws, unexpected internet cut-offs, and threats of violence.
We are simply scared when night falls. In the dark, the country is lawless. Thugs roam around, people get arrested, fires start, and small cities could be under attack by the defenders of the country.
This coup takes a big toll on our mental health. We are afraid — but we all have this little hope in us. Everyone I know is working towards achieving this little hope. All we want is to get our country back. The fragile banking, economy, and transportation. We want to fix those fragile things through our chosen representatives. We will happily accept this mess and build the country again. We want to make sure our next generation could thrive and not take democracy for granted.

To all my fans around the world, 🌎
‼️I would like to request one help from you...
please tell the truth about our country if internet lines are all cut off .
Myanmar 🇲🇲, our country is not safe anymore. We always have to be afraid what is gonna happen to us at night and in the morning as we don’t have a good leader. We used to have our hero leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been detained by Myanmar Military Coup since 1st Feb, 2021.
We cannot sleep safely & soundly like we used to because Military soldiers release prisoners/inmates to attack civilians. They are asked to set fire up, break in to the houses at night and put poison in our drinking water. Citizens of Myanmar lost safetiness. We cannot sleep at night. Even polices and soldiers are harming people and we are feeling really helpless.
I cannot think why they could do that to us.
It makes my heart breaking into pieces.
Please share this with the hashtag of ( what is happening in Myanmar) to be seen by your countries’ leaders. We really need immediate help and humanitarian needs from your leaders. Their helps and support will not only effect on me but also it will be effective to all my people who are living in Myanmar 🇲🇲.
Save Myanmar with your supports,
I will be very appreciate for your help.

[HOW WOULD YOU ESCAPE NORTH KOREA? (THE 7 CHOICES)]
If you were living in North Korea right now - trying to survive on a diet of rats, grass, soil and tree bark, quenching your thirst by drinking out of mud puddles in the ground - what would you do?
There's also the conceivable chance of being sent to a political prison camp for years on end just because you innocently thought out loud one day to a bunch of friends (North Korean propaganda is strong), where you are then beaten, tortured, and left so hungry that you are forced to dig and consume the grains out of faeces, or the maggots from dead bodies just so you have the energy to perhaps last one more day.
You'd probably wanna escape. But how?
The North Korean government in Pyongyang refuses to let its citizens leave, a clear violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, viewing North Korean defectors as traitorous criminals. Captured North Koreans would be subject to unimaginable torture and often public executions.
If they are successful in their escape, then three to four generations of their family back home would be sent to North Korean prison camps to rot ....or worse. This is a strong deterrent.
But this still doesn't stop desperate North Koreans from tempting fate. In this video, I'll go over the seven ways to escape the DPRK, including the most dangerous, the most unforgiving, the most unique, and the most unexpected.
The North Korean border on the south side (ie. South Korean border / Korean DMZ) is the shortest distance to travel for safety and stability but as a result, the regime makes it dangerously hard. A North Korean escapee can be shot down by North Korean soldiers (border guards) or step on the many landmines in the area.
The northern border to China has it's own set of challenges. Most North Korean refugees escape through this way, usually crossing the Tumen River border (like the famous North Korean defector Hyeonseo Lee). Once in China, the nightmare doesn't end there.
There are also other, more unconventional ways you can try to escape such as through North Korean labor camps.
Even if you make it to safety and resettle in a stable country, the North Korean regime will still try to hunt you down, so you're never truly safe. Especially if you're an outspoken critic or a threat to Kim Jong-un's power - just ask his half brother, Kim Jong-nam.

【WHY I have made this video】
Share my personal experiences and let more people learn about the local Japanese girls cultures :)
After living and studying in Japan for several years, I noticed and realized that Japanese girls would not do a certain several things that Taiwanese girl will normally do in their everyday life. (Here Japanese girls only refer to most of the Japanese girls, it does not mean all of them have the same habits) The very first time, it was not easy for me to understand and get used to how they behave in a different ways. (Different habits) It totally shows we have different habits, and different social expectations in Taiwan and Japan.
1. Japanese girls do NOT make sound when taking a piss (they would use a machine called Otohime to cover it)
2. Japanese girls would not go to Ramen place alone (also, Yoshinoya, Matsuya, Sukiya etc)
3. Japanese girls would not wear only a tank top when going out.
