Today on News Stream, I spoke to Hong Kong artist and activist Denise Ho about why she opposes the extradition bill and how she and fellow protesters plan to fight it.
Ho was arrested in 2014 for her protest during the pro-democracy Umbrella Movement, and despite eroding freedoms and setbacks since then she is determined to keep on fighting.
"The Hong Kong government is tightening their grip and upgrading their tactics... The way that we did it in 2014 is not the only way that is possible right now," Ho tells me.
"I think the only way to do it is we change it into a wider spectrum of different tactics and different fights among the people of Hong Kong." #HongKong #ExtraditionBill
