For October’s CEO Day, we invited Michael Zung (Marketing Director of Fung Global Retail & Technology), TK Chen (Asia Community Partner of @questvp), and Ronald Yu (CEO & Founder of @停車大聲公) to share their experiences and insights with TSS Starting Lineup CEOs about their experience of starting multiple companies.
Here are a few takeaways💼 from the event:
✏️Finding a core value: Having several kinds of products or features is good, but sometimes it's necessary to limit your market to only one channel so that customers won't get easily confused.
✏️Great product doesn't make good company; good company doesn't mean a great investment. There's no certain formula for getting investment. To impress investors, you need to know exactly what you've done and what are you going to do with the money.
✏️If your startup is highly technical, don't go to general investors! Go to those investors who are interested in the industry you're in.
Last but not least, 💥Don't limit yourself in Taiwan. You can always go to the global market!
