It is not easy being a teacher as the patience and sacrifices needed are huge. During the Movement Control Order (MCO), many parents could feel the weight of responsibility of the profession when they needed to be teachers for the children to ensure the education continues.

I have been called to sign all the necessary consents.

Alhamdulillah today managed to ask abah ;

‘abah, abah redha ye semua decision and consents nor sign kan ni.

He noded. Too breathless to answer but he nooded.
This was yesterday noon.
24h after now he is not even fit to speak.

He is a Consultant Engineer by profession.
But he is the most humble servant of Allah.
Loving father and grandfather.
Awesome husband.

And he has the purest most giving heart I’ve ever known.

So for all his good deeds ya Allah, have mercy on him.

P/S : currently cardio thoracic surgeon is inserting a chest tube for Abah, for Right Pneumothorax.
Suspecting thats the reason of his deterioration last night.
Moga it’ll make him stable insyaaAllah n we can avoid intubation.

Great news – Singapore Hawker Culture has been inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity!

Many have worked very hard to get our Hawker Culture inscribed on that list. Thank you all – it has been a long but fruitful journey.
