I came back to Taiwan today to find the results of my NIFTY PLUS test on my desk (a genetics test for the baby, basically) . I was nervous - like I was about to find out the results of a school exam. It’s so silly. This isn’t some sort of test I can study for, so it’s not like I could have prepared for the exam… but still, I was nervous. When I opened the contents and read the results of the blood test though, I felt the biggest sigh of relief. Better than any Straight A’s or top score could have made me feel.
The chance for all of the genetic disorders tested have come out as "low".
I know I am considered a high risk pregnancy because of my age, and so doing a genetics blood test for my baby was something we wanted to do to make us at least aware of some of the possible outcomes.
I'm also aware that despite any test, there's a chance for anything when it comes to a developing a brand new human being inside of you, and I know we'll love our child whatever happens, but I think that knowing and arming yourself with knowledge, through some non-invasive tests for the baby, is always a good option. If the chances for anything unforeseen is higher than normal, then you can learn how best prepare for what’s going to already be a new challenge in life - that YOU'RE GOING TO BE A MOMMY (or Daddy!)

What type of writer are you?
That’s a question I asked myself more than 20 years ago when I first got started and there’s basically 3 choices...
Choice 1: The Academic Writer
This is the type of writer we learn to become at school.
“Never start a sentence with ‘because’.”
“Don’t forget the comma!”
“Always write a complete thought.”
Some of these writers have gone on to become very well-known authors.
Some of them have made contributions to science, history, literature.
Some have made it really big.
But that’s not something I could do…
And here’s why.
The barrier of entry is pretty high. And you also usually have to get into a lot of student debt and write several papers that could take years before you become recognized.
And that’s just something I wasn’t willing to do.
Besides, I’m not even a native speaker of English.
And my grammar sucks.
But if you’re an A student, and you want to pursue a career as an academic writer - this may be the path for you.
Choice 2: The Creative Writer
When you say “I’m a writer”, this is what most people think of...
Who wouldn’t want to be a stay-at-home writer that can get up whenever you want?
The creative writer is the writer that writes fiction, that writes stories, and that entertains readers all over the world.
These are the writers that become world-famous authors, like J.K. Rowlings or Stephen King.
But for most writers, it’s not as dreamy as it sounds...
No one tells you about all the months you have to fight off writer's block…
Or about the bills that start taking over your desk space if you don’t go get a regular job...
Or that your first manuscript is actually “supposed” to get rejected...
You see what usually happens is this.
1. You write the book.
2. You wait a long time for it to get published (18 months).
3. And then you wait another long period of who knows how long before you earn royalties.
And unless you have a huge load of savings during that time, it’s game over...
So either you have a lot of savings to keep you in the game, or you’re forced back into a 9 - 5 to pay off all the bills.
Now I’m not saying you can’t do it. Many writers push through the hard times and become successful writers.
I just hate the idea of working a 9 to 5 or waiting years to get a return on my time…
So I didn’t opt in to being this kind writer either. And if you’re anything like me, neither would you...
Choice 3: The Revenue-Based Writer
Now these writers aren’t the best at English in the world. And they’re probably not the most creative either...
But that’s okay. There’s a different advantage to being a Revenue-Based Writer.
And that is they’re responsible for trillions of dollars of revenue every single year.
Let me prove it to you.
Think of any big names you can:
Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Nike, Ikea...
How do you think these companies effectively communicate their message to millions and millions of people every single day?
They need writers that can influence, persuade, and inspire people to buy their products and services - on a daily basis.
And when they have those writers, they make more money. And when they make more money, guess what…
They pay those writers more money.
Now maybe you’re wondering.
“Well what do these types of writers actually do?”
Well here’s what they do, and here’s how to become one if that’s what you’re interested in...
Imagine someone has a local electronics store and they get some people visiting their website...
And their sales are okay, they’re making around $500-bucks a month online.
Now, what if you rewrote it or tweaked a couple things to increase their monthly revenue from online orders to $1,000?
Now they’re making 2X as much from the same website.
You’ve just doubled their sales.
Wouldn’t they be happy to pay you $100 for helping them make an extra $500 every month?
And if you could make them $500 dollars more a month, do you think they’d really care about how good your grammar is?
Or would they care more about how much money you’d make them?
And if you could make them money, don't you think they'd want to pay you more to keep writing for them?
Simple right? It is.
So it’s not like traditional writing where you have to slave away for 2 to 3 years before getting anything back for your work…
As a Revenue-Based Writer, you can bring in the cash after just a few weeks of work - sometimes after just a few days.
It’s great.
But like all great things, there is a catch.
And it’s why the average writer never gets into this kind of stuff.
You do have to know which gigs to offer...
Ever notice how some writers (who aren't very good writers) are making great money — while other better writers are barely scraping by or not making the income they deserve?
What's the difference?
Well, not all writing opportunities are created equal.
If you want to know the 4 easy gigs to become a revenue-based writer…
... Without going to another freelance site where you’re treated as a commodity and are forced to earn less than you deserve...
I’ve put together a special, free on-demand training that goes much more in-depth
If you want to check it out, put the keyword “writer” below and I’ll send it to you personally.

Today's makeup tutorial is on my MUST-KNOW tips for sharp winged eyeliner (specifically for flat tapered hooded kinda droopy Asian eyelids like mine). I wanted to make this very beginner friendly so I didn't wear eyeshadow so you can see how I fix my mistakes to get the perfect wing! ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭*

TGIF! ᕕ( ՞ ᗜ ՞ )ᕗ How are you all?
This has been one of the most highly requested videos on my channel, probably because 90% of the time I'm wearing makeup, I'll be wearing winged liner. I think it's just more flattering on my eyes since they're slightly downturned.
Now I know my eyes aren't the most hooded or flat, but I think learning how to do a winged eyeliner was my biggest struggle with makeup (even more so than a cut crease). It takes a lot of trial and error and I actually "perfected" my technique by practicing my winged eyeliner every day for 180 “consecutive” days (I wore it every day throughout my junior year of high school lol). I know, super extra, but worth it. ...? ¯\_(ಥ ‿ ಥ )_/¯
Let's just say yes so I feel better about waking up an hour early every day to practice ᕕ(⌐■_■)ᕗ ♪♬ Or if this tutorial is helpful, we can say I took one for the team so now you can sleep in haha ?
How do you guys like this editing? I try to compete with myself to make each video better than the last and I think this video is a pretty cute winner. I know it's very short but trust it contains all of the info you need to succeed in winging your liner ଘ꒰ ๑ ˃̶ ᴗ ᵒ̴̶̷๑꒱و ̑̑
Oh, and don't judge my nails! They're doing their best ?
Acrylics really damaged them (that's why they're uneven) so I'm letting them grow out. I tried to mask the ugly by using glittery + holographic nail polishes (which I rarely wear) and I kind of like them!
Thanks for watching! I have soooo many videos planned, it just takes forever to edit (I literally stayed up til 3AM for 2 nights just editing this 4 min. video HAHA!) ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅ )‧º·˚ but thank you for being patient with me!

from the edge - FictionJunction feat. LiSA
from the edge 歌詞 | LYRICS
cry for the future
from the edge of darkness
cry for the future
from the edge of darkness
cry for the future
from the edge of darkness
