Nasi Dagang Terengganu
3 cawan beras basmati
3/4 cawan beras pulut
2 cawan santan cair/air
1 1/2 cawan santan pekat yang ditambah garam (sampai masin) dan gula & dimasak seketika (JANGAN sampai pecah minyak)
2 helai daun pandan disimpul
6 ulas bawang merah )
1 inci halia. ) dimayang
1 1/2 sudu kecil halba
*beras basmathi dan beras pulut dicampur, dicuci & direndam 2-3 jam
*kukus beras serta daun pandan selama 8 minit
*keluarkan nasi tadi dari pengukus setelah 30minit letak dlm besen. Masukkan santan cair ..kacau perlahan2 dan biarkan santan meresap dlm nasi tadi. Kukus semula hingga masak.
*Masukkan nasi dalam besen , gaulkan santan pekat, taburkan campuran bawang merah, halia & halba. Gaul hingga sebati.
Kuah Gulai Ikan Tongkol
2 kg ikan tongkol di potong mengikut saiz kesukaan
3/4 keping asam gelugur
Sedikit gula Melaka
garam
air secukupnya
Renihkan semuanya selama 1-2 jam atas api perlahan
Gulai:
2 biji bawang besar sederhana saiznya*
3 ulas bawang putih*
cili kisar (ikut kepedasan)
1 inci halia*
1 inci lengkuas*
3 sudu besar rempah gulai nasi dagang
1 sudu kecik kerisek
sedikit belacan*
santan pekat
1/2 cawan minyak masak
gula melaka dan garam
air rebusan ikan tadi
panaskan minyak, masukkan lada kisar biar ia naik bau dan pecah minyak...kisar bahan bertanda * hingga halus dan tumiskan dlm periuk tadi dgn api perlahan dan masukkan rempah gulai hingga garing & pecah minyak. Masukkan air rebusan ikan tadi, santan pekat & renihkan hingga sedikit pekat. Masukkan ikan tonkol rebus & sesuaikan rasanya dengan garam & gula Melaka. Hidangkan bersama telur rebus & jelatah.

Hari ini Rhys nak kongsi satu resepi dengan korang semua... Nasi Tomato Chickpea. Satu hidangan yang sedap dan sangat mengenyangkan. Juga senang sangat kita nak buat - sebab pakai rice cooker sahaja hehe
📋Bahan-bahan:
-215g Kimball Tomato Puree
-1/4 tin Kimball Tomato Soup
-425g Kimball Chickpeas
-1 sudu besar Kimball Oyster Flavored Sauce
-2 sudu besar minyak masak
-2 sudu besar ghee
-Rempah (4cm kayu manis, 2 bunga lawang, 3 biji buah pelaga, 5 bunga cengkih)
-1 bawang (dipotong kecil)
-6 ulas bawang putih (dihiris nipis)
-3cm halia (dipotong kecil)
-500g beras basmati (dibasuh)
-600ml stok ayam
-1 sudu kecil garam
-1 sudu kecil gula
🍲 Cara-cara masak
1)Panaskan minyak dengan ghee dalam rice cooker dan tambah rempah dan masak selama 30 saat. Masukkan bawang, bawang putih dan halia dan tumis sehingga golden.
2)Masukkan Kimball Tomato Puree, Kimball Tomato Soup, Kimball Oyster Flavored Sauce, stok ayam, gula, garam.
3)Masukkan beras
4)Selepas mendidih kacau sehingga air dah serap dalam beras. Masukkan Kimball Chickpeas dan kacau perlahan-perlahan (supaya kacang tak pecah)
5)Tutup dan masak selama 20 minit
6)Sebelum hidang "fluff" nasi.

1) Pack on the spice
2) Go easy on the oil and coconut milk
3) Avoid cream-based stews or curries
4) Choose grill over deep-fry
5) Go for plain rice over flavoured rice
6) Don’t over do it on rice
7) Be wise about bread

BREAKFAST – OATS RAVA IDLI (Makes 8)
1) ¾ cup Oats, grinded into powder – 455Cals
2) ¾ cup Rava / Semolina / Sooji – 450Cals
3) ¾ cup Plain or Greek Yoghurt – 113Cals
4) ½ cup Water
5) 1 small Carrot, grated – 21Cals
6) ½ tsp. Baking Soda
7) ½ tsp. Mustard Seeds – 5Cals
8) 2 Green Chillies, finely chopped – 10Cals
9) 1 tsp. Curry Leaves, finely chopped
10) 6 – 7 crushed Cashew Nuts – 75Cals
11) ½ tbsp. Canola Oil – 60Cals
12) ½ tsp. Salt

*Or ¾ cup of diced fresh tomatotoes and ½ cup of water.
