"It's important to be kind because when you are kind, you make people happy. Kindness makes the world a better place for everyone. May all of us, no matter young or old, always spare a thought and be nice to each other."

This was what the kids said when asked on why kindness is important.

Yup, it's definitely easier said than done and at times, it can be hard to spare a thought for others, especially in this turbulent year filled with more downs than ups where everyone is feeling uptight, worried and uneasy.

That is precisely why we need to try even harder, show that we can be better, that we can unite and make our society a better one. This Christmas, let us all help to spread some joy in our community in every little way we can.

An act of kindess doesn't have to take much. For instance, by snapping a photo doing a high five gesture with this one-of-a-kind Singa Christmas tree and posting it on IG with words of encouragement, @waterway_point will donate a 5kg bag of rice to The Food Bank Singapore. Don't forget to include the hashtags #High5Singa and #WWPXmas20.

P.S. Enjoying a mum-and-daughters morning today with the girls. Gonna cherish the rest of December before these two have to go back to school. Happy hump day, people!

We had a jolly good time at Wishing Stars in KidZania Singapore yesterday and yup, I survivied a whole day and night of being out with the trio, woohoo!

Wishing Stars is the year end event in KidZania and takes place till 31 Dec. We love how it embraces the festive spirit and the main highlights families can look forward to are the Christmas Lights Projection, inflatable playground with a 4-metre slide, Christmas City Parade, a 3D art installation of Santa's House, a Christmas Bazaar and an Elves Station for kids to donate gifts to the less privileged. Angel's favourite part was parading around the city while singing and dancing to Christmas carols, Ariel loved the meaningful activity of spending her hard-earned KidZos at the department store where she chose a dinosaur gift to wrap up and donate for a good cause, and Asher just couldn't get enough of the fun-filled inflatable slide and ball pit.

For me, I was pleasantly surprised to see that KidZania now allows the toddlers (2-3yos) to follow their elder siblings and join in the role play activities too. How awesome for Asher! I even did a passport for him and he went into Maybank (on his own!) to start a bank account. Milestone unlocked! He also got to make his first burger, first ice cream and even Bak Kwa too. Lol.

It was nice to see that the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it is no wonder that every visit to @kidzaniasingapore brings us joy and leaves us with lots of fond, precious memories. Till the next fun family day out!
