If the monkies have to choose one highlight of our Cebu trip, it has got to be the Marine Sanctuary at Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa.
It spans six hectares, and is teeming with fishes, clams and corals. And the best part? It is just at the resort's beachfront!
Any wonder that the monkies chose to snorkel every single day then?
Spent the morning constructing our own fish house out of limestone, sand and cement. Once everything has dried, it will be put into the sea so that fishes and corals will make it their home. Can't wait to welcome our first guests!

Cebu may not be on most people's to-go list but that doesn't mean its beaches are less stunning... as my photos will show.
And if you planning to head there, only Shangri-La's Mactan Resort and Spa will do simply because there's only just one word to describe it - breathtaking. Well, it's kids-friendly too but I have a feeling you already know that. :)
