A message for the world

In the day of children… It’s the 7th day of Israeli escalation on Gaza.

I admit I’m not strong enough to bear all of these awful things, it’s so hard to see the innocent is being killed in such atrocious way, civilians are being killed, elderly are being killed , women are being killed and moreover Children are being killed. What’s their guilty to deserve what did happen to them ?!!

What’s the ironical scene while the world celebrating the children’s day, Zionist aggression killed more than 26 child of Gaza children, then Israel is the most democratic country in the middle east, so fuck such democracy !

For all the world we don’t need your tears, we can cry all the day, we are in need for your act, act against your governments which support Israel, act now against your silence

I joined my voice to my colleagues here in Gaza, WE ARE NOT NUMBERS, yes, we are not just numbers, we are human being, we have feelings, passions, we have blood , we have hearts in our chests , we have families who care about us, we have friends, and we deserve to have the life you have...

Our blood is being shed every day and the world haven’t known yet that we are human being.

Act now to stop this massacre against Palestinians, act now to stop the Israeli ongoing aggression against Gaza.

Don’t just watch us while we are being killed, Israel gets its immunity from your silence ,so please don’t participate this aggression against us by your silence, our defend is about our existence, is about to be or not to be, may I will be killed any time because every Palestinian is a target for inhuman Zionist aggression.

I just want my words to reach you, not just to read it and feel sorry about us, but to touch your hearts to act now !

Something I’ve been working on lately is practicing to be more proactive and mindful in my response towards what happens in my life rather than being a passive reactive participant. ⁣
⁣
I’ve first heard this quote during an argument with my family member and the quote was read to me with good intentions. At the time I was too ticked off to truly understand the meaning and thought the person to be condescending and trying to place undue blame on me. ⁣
⁣
At the time I did not understand by being a passive reactive participant to upsetting stimulus I was actually putting myself in a torturous prison of my own emotions. Being proactive and mindful isn’t the same as saying whatever awful things that happen to you is your fault. I mean you by all means could 100% be the victim. It does however let you tap into the true reasons of why you’re feeling the way you are and allow you to think in the space between stimulus and response and about the fruitfulness of your reactions. It also allows you to more effectively communicate your feelings in a constructive non- destructive manner and drastically increase the chances of you actually achieving a win-win outcome. It will no longer be just you blowing steam off yet not achieving the real end goal of bringing happiness to you and the person you’re arguing with. ⁣

Lastly there’s no book more interesting to each of us than a book that talks about us right? Think of it as a self experimental study each time - stay curious, and observe the space, observe the responses ❤️ Could be fun don’t you think?⁣

讓情緒驅使其實會傷害到很多人。⁣

在我們的反應裡我們可以成長⁣
也會得到渴望的心靈的自由。⁣

我們對某些反應特別大⁣
是因為我們加註在他人的行為上的一些⁣
自我本身的包袱，標籤，與偏見⁣
在驅使著我們。⁣

在自己的心靈空間裡想一下，⁣

Beauty Scenario tag questions!
1. You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?
2. You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
3. You’re not feeling yourself and you need a pick me up lipstick, which one do you go for?
4. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?
5. You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear you wrong and give you a pixie haircut. Do you, a) Smile, say thank you, leave, call your mum and cry hysterically, b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward, or c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund?
6. Your friend surprises you with a 4-day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which ‘do it all’ palette do you pack in your makeup bag?
7. Your house has been robbed, don’t worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What’s the product you really hope is safe?
8. Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you, a) Just pretend you haven’t noticed, b) Ask them to repurchase it, or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs?

Ngoc and I started the morning off eating banh mi in a taxi on our way to the airport. Saigon traffic was awful in the morning and it took over 40 minutes to get to the airport. We tried web check in, but it didn't work, so we checked in and was a little bit late. Nevertheless, we made our flight and an elderly woman sat in my seat and we decided to share a cab from the Hanoi airport to My Dinh Station, because we randomly happened to all be going to the same place. I hate airplane food. But this time it wasn't so bad. I ate a hamburger, yes, a burger bun with ham and finished the meal down with some che. We took a taxi from the Hanoi Airport and went straight to My Dinh Bus Station, which can be chaotic for many travelers. There was a sudden rush of noise and heat and everyone was sweating it up. We helped the lady find her bus to Thai Binh and we found ours to Ha Giang after I manually flushed my pee into a toilet that I shouldn't have peed in. The bus was already taking off and it didn't even have any more seats left, but we hopped on anyways. This sleeper style bus was supposed to take six hours, but it took roughly eight hours due to a quick stop where I ate some pho ga or chicken pho and it also picked up many people along the way and dropped many people off at various points. Oh, and remember not to wear your shoes on the bus. That's a big no no. I also hate sleeper buses because they make me feel really tired and lethargic. The people on the bus were nice though. Maybe a little bit too nice for the average person? Who knows. Either way, by 10 o'clock Ngoc and I were at our hotel for the night chowing down on some rice and fried chicken. This is just the beginning of our epic few days in North Vietnam. Be sure to check back soon for so much more!

Today’s cover goes to a very gentle song that went viral at the end of 2020.
Do you guys know where the Alaska Bay is?
In the waters between the United States and Canada and there are two colors of the sea. Because of the density of sea water, the two parts cannot be integrated. So it's used as a metaphor in the song, referring to the kind of love that two cannot have a happy ever after ending even they love each other.

I guess you guys can relate to this kind of love right?
So it would be my response to my loved one that it's not your fault even though you can't love me back. You don't necessarily have to love me like I do so please don't feel sorry because of this. You are forever my babe.
However awful things may happen to you and however depressed you may be, and when you feel like being disappointed at yourself, I hope you can remember you are loved and I love you.
That is the only one truth and you are the only holic I have =]
