เริ่มมีการคอนเฟิร์มออกมาแล้วสำหรับรายชื่อเกมบนเครื่อง PlayStation 5 ที่กำลังจะเปิดตัวในไม่ช้านี้ และดูเหมือนว่าหนึ่งในเกมเหล่านั้นจะมีเกมสร้างชีวิตภาคใหม่ล่าสุดอย่าง The Sims 5 อยู่ด้วย!?

IGN ได้เปิดเผยรายชื่อเกมที่ยืนยันแล้วว่าจะวางจำหน่ายบนระบบ PlayStation 5 ของ Sony ในอนาคตอันใกล้นี้ โดยมีรายชื่อเกมที่น่าสนใจดังต่อไปนี้

ซึ่งเกมที่น่าสนใจก็คือรายชื่อเกมที่มาจากทางค่าย EA โดยมีทั้ง Battlefield 6 และ The Sims 5 อยู่ด้วย ซึ่งเป็นไปได้ว่าเกมทั้งสองนี้อาจมีการเปิดตัวในงาน EA Play ที่จะจัดขึ้นในเดือนมิถุนายนนี้ก็เป็นได้ แต่จะเป็นเช่นนั้นจริงหรือไม่ ก็คงต้องรอดูกันไปก่อนครับ

[News] Chris Avellone ถูกถอดออกจากทีมพัฒนา Dying Light 2, Bloodlines 2 เหตุล่วงละเมิดทางเพศ และดูหมิ่นผู้อื่น

Chris Avellone อดีตมือเขียนบท Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity และเคยมีผลงานการเขียนบทในเกมต่างๆ มากมาย ได้ถูกถอดออกจากทีมพัฒนา Dying Light 2 แล้ว และผลงานของเขาที่ทำไว้ใน Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 ก็ถูกถอดออกจากเกมไปด้วยเช่นกัน อันเป็นผลมาจากข้อกล่าวหาเรื่องการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศ

Techland ได้ประกาศวันนี้ ว่า Avellone ไม่ได้มีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนา Dying Light 2 อีกต่อไป

"เราให้ความสำคัญเรื่องการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศและการดูหมิ่นเป็นอย่างยิ่ง และจะไม่ยอมให้พฤติกรรมแบบนั้นเกิดขึ้น ทั้งฝั่งพนักงานของเรา รวมไปถึงที่ปรึกษาภายนอก ซึ่ง Chris เข้าข่ายอยู่ในกลุ่มนั้น"

นอกจากนี้ Paradox Interactive ยังได้ยืนยันกับ Gamasutra ว่า ผลงานที่ Avellone เคยทำไว้ใน Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 จะถูกถอดถอนออกจากเกมด้วย

"Paradox Interactive ผู้จัดจำหน่าย Bloodlines อธิบายว่า Avellone มาร่วมโปรเจ็กต์พัฒนาเป็นระยะเวลา 'สั้นๆ' เท่านั้น และ 'ไม่มีผลงานที่เขามีส่วนร่วม หลงเหลืออยู่ในเกมที่ Hardsuit Labs กำลังพัฒนาอยู่แล้ว'"

รวมไปถึง Emily Grace Buck มือเขียนบทหลักของ Waylanders เกมแนว RPG ที่เพิ่งวางจำหน่ายในรูปแบบ Early Access บน Steam ก็ได้ยืนยันด้วยว่า Avellone ถูกถอดออกจากทีมพัฒนาเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว

Avellone ถูกกล่าวหาจากหญิงสาวหลายคนที่กล่าวว่า เขาใช้ตำแหน่งหน้าที่การงานในอุตสาหกรรมเกม ในการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศพวกเธอ รวมไปถึงมีการล่วงละเมิดบุคลากรอื่นในอุตสาหกรรม อาทิ Andrien Gbinigie ผู้จัดการฝ่ายการตลาดของ Ubisoft และ Ashraf Ismail ผู้กำกับ Assassin's Creed Valhalla
