趁連假與大家分享Arnold & Son的DSTB (Dial Side True Beat)跳秒錶。
自2014年推出以來，Arnold & Son DSTB已成為品牌的招牌款式之一。此絕妙作品每隔幾
年推出新的錶殼材質、錶盤顏色及機芯裝飾的組合，讓人驚艷不已，賞玩度極高。其中，
白金錶殼搭配放射紋藍面為最引人注目的款式之一。
所謂的True Beat (真拍)、Seconde Morte/Dead-beat Seconds (死秒)、或Jumping Seco
nds (跳秒)機制讓機械錶秒針每秒跳動一次，精準地打在刻度上，以提供精確的規律性計
時(倒數時尤其好用)。像是Gronefeld One Hertz、Habring2 JS以及Richard Lange JS等
錶款也搭載了類似的功能，需要額外的槓桿、彈簧或擒縱叉儲存能量，並在儲夠一秒的動
力後傳遞給秒針輪。以下是Arnold & Son DSTB的官方影片，跳秒的機械魔力在錶盤上(即
dial side)展露無疑遺。

近乎全新的二手DSTB可遇不可求，我自認非常幸運能收進這支錶！鋼殼黑面的組合也深得
我心。黑面遠看較藍面低調，近看卻又與跳秒機械零件有著更強烈的對比。整組跳秒裝置
放置在錶盤的左上方，由三個鈀金處理的橋板固定齒輪和船錨狀槓桿，再加上特大藍寶石
環形秒盤和擒縱叉，鏤空大箭頭秒針也相當吸睛。黑色面盤採用ADLC塗層搭配刷紋(snail
ing pattern)處理，在光線晃動下，似羽毛飄逸般的動感十分鮮明。
DSTB的時分針小盤雖淪為配角(happily!)，但白漆高低面、藍鋼針、羅馬時標、勾勒邊框
，作工毫不含糊。說到不對稱面盤，我個人偏好時分針盤放置在面盤的右半側，這樣戴在
左手腕時，稍拉袖口不用全盤露出即可讀時，實用方便性大增不少。
DSTB的錶徑為43.5 mm，但L2L僅50 mm，厚度約13 mm。43.5大錶徑令人猶豫，但也正因為
大面窄圈，才能讓所有機械與計時配置在錶盤上有足夠的空間伸展，沒有任何凌亂；箱型
藍寶石鏡面亦加強了每個錶盤組件的立體視覺。為了佩戴舒適，錶殼中段採二階式設計，
在靠近錶背處向內收窄，再搭配斜面切割的下墜錐形錶耳，讓L2L縮至50 mm，在優雅的外
觀下亦具備出色的人體工學設計。
至於背面A&S 6003機芯的美，我們就讓照片來述說：雙色機刻花紋之鏤空自動盤、鏡面螺
絲、拋光倒角、雙面螺旋紋、陽光放射紋、緞面紋、日內瓦波紋、小魚鱗紋等各種不同的
裝飾或打磨技術令人目不暇給，處處充滿驚喜！機芯經NAC灰調處理，與黑色面盤相
呼相應，動力儲存可達50小時。
Arnold & Son DSTB的外觀不僅出色，作工也十分精細。43.5的錶徑還是大，但戴在腕上
有著出乎意料地平衡感，催眠般的跳秒節奏更讓人忘卻時間的流逝。
Arnold & Son原是一英國歷史品牌(18世紀by John Arnold)，後來被The British Master
s賣給瑞士頂尖機芯廠La Joux-Perret。如今，Arnold & Son成為日本Citizen Group的一
部分；Citizen在2012年收購了La Joux-Perret和Arnold & Son的母公司Prothor (據說花
了6,400萬瑞士法郎)。
Q：所以我可以說Credor之於Seiko等同Arnold & Son之於Citizen嗎?
