Congrats to the SAF commanders and officers who will be promoted from 1 July! Am happy that one of them is our first female Brigadier-General, BG Gan Siow Huang. :)

I am delighted that more than 500 SAF commanders and officers received their promotions today, an appropriate recognition for their outstanding contributions. With their promotions, more will be expected of them. The SAF is also getting its first female one-star general – BG Gan Siow Huang – marking a new chapter in SAF’s history this year.
My personal congratulations to all. Lead well and serve the SAF and Singapore with diligence, honour and integrity.
