Hi Brian,
Enjoyed reading this Vol. I. I must say even though I have been to almost all the places except Bohemian Grove, for the obvious reason, and Arizona, I learned a lot of new facts and data.
I laughed when you passionately talked about Steve Jobs etc. didn't finish their college education or went to graduate school. It is true that people born smart doesn't need formal nor structured education. But they are few among a few.
Stopped by traffic police while driving over 90 miles per hour on a straight highway, we all had that experience "one day when we were young". If your young driver is carrying an International driver's license, most police will let him go. The four guidelines you set for trips afterwards are good. One thing we always have to remember is that always fill up before returning the rental car. If not, they charge top price for gas. I am glad you guys had a taste of using a RV. I love taking kids out in that because they don't complain so much and we don't have to make wee wee stops. It is not easy to drive one though.
We all love San Diego. Only there, the water of the ocean starts to get warm. Mr. Bill Perry was the Secretary of Defense during the Clinton's administration. He ordered the Nimitz to head towards Taiwan Strait during the missile crisis. My husband accompanied him on his book tour to China and Taiwan earlier this year. "My Journey at the Nuclear Brink" is the name of his book.
Thank you for including me as one of the proofreaders of your new book.
I am taking a river cruise from Memphis down the Mississippi next week. Will learn some small town history along the way.

Just a very incomplete compilation of the very few among the many many events happened in 2017.
I had my first cruise experience with my none blood related lil sis, bought a new car as my birthday present, finally landed myself a role in a period drama after longing for it for so many years, nominated across different categories in the Golden Awards 2017, didn't win but definitely a quick summary and nevertheless a good recognition on all the hard work poured in, Chester Bennington died of depression, McGregor lost the game but won some money, my dog had an operation and healed well, traveled alone with my mum and did a travelogue with her for the first time, the tough lady broke her ankle earlier in China but still managed to rampage through stairs and hills in Cappadocia, witnessed my bffs got married to men who love and pamper them to the max, joined Rev and faced new challenges as the branding director, led my first ever charity drive with Rev in support of PSP, wrote a script that didn't materialise, failed a couple of castings, rejected jobs, continued my journey and tried pushing some limits on my styling attempts with L'Officiel Malaysia, made great friends, hands on helped a stateless sick child and learned our own fear and ignorance to the uncharted, no I helped myself instead not the child, danced under the lamppost, struggled and laughed and cried, fed with hopes and subsequently disappointments and learning to protect the heart from flying too high or falling too steep, and the list goes on. Because life is made of so many small little moments that slip by so easily without us cherishing or at least noticing, I feel they are worth an applause. Whatever you have done to last you through 2017, they're worth an applause too. Bad things might have happened but the good ones are always there to balance the bads up, we just have to acknowledge them. Count the blessings, this is exactly what I have been reminded to do on the last day of 2017, and I'd love to share this to my friends fam fans and followers. We don't always have to make new year resolutions, but we can always refine the old ones.
Bye 2017, hello 2018, keep hustling, keep believing 🙂
