Yesterday, AIT Director Sandra Oudkirk met with Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua for the first time. Their discussion included the progress achieved through the Economic Prosperity and Partnership Dialogue (EPPD), U.S.-Taiwan supply chain cooperation, and our joint work on the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs, among other issues. Director Oudkirk expressed how pleased she was to see the expansion of the U.S.-Taiwan economic relationship and the continued development of economic, investment, and commercial ties between the U.S. and Taiwan.
