Tôi sống và làm thầy giáo thiện nguyện ở miền Tây - tại một vùng quê nghèo của tỉnh Hậu Giang. Tôi thật sự cảm nhận phần nào khó khăn vất vả của những gia đình nông dân nghèo khó ở đây khi năm học mới hay những ngày Tết đến,...
Nỗi buồn lớn nhất của cha mẹ đó chính là chứng kiến cảnh những đứa con của mình phải từ bỏ trường lớp vì hoàn cảnh gia đình nghèo khó, dù năng lực học tập của các con rất tốt.
Chúng ta ở thành thị, con cái chúng ta đầy đủ hoặc chính chúng ta luôn ỷ lại, nhưng chúng ta không thể thấu hết nỗi khó khăn, day dứt của những phụ huynh nghèo khi có con học ngày càng cao...nỗi lo ngày càng lớn...
Năm nay Kyo đã quyết định thu xếp công việc, nhận lời đồng hành cùng Quỹ từ thiện Dấu Ấn Yêu Thương đi "Dọc Miền Trung Nắng Gió" để san sẻ tinh thần và học bổng đến các bạn HS-SV có hoàn cảnh nghèo khó thật sự tại các tỉnh dự kiến Bình Thuận, Ninh Thuận, Quảng Nam, Đà Nẵng, Huế,... tháng 9/2016.
Kyo cũng chân thành kêu gọi quý tấm lòng vàng hãy ủng hộ chương trình để góp thêm sức mạnh cho các bạn HS-SV nghèo được cắp sách đến trường thực hiện ước mơ tri thức của mình.
Đáng lẽ bản in DVD/CD Đêm nhạc Trịnh - NƠI VỀ NƯƠNG NÁU lần này, Kyo chỉ dự định in nội bộ 100 bản đặc biệt dành tặng đến các anh chị em nghệ sĩ đã đồng hành cùng đêm nhạc. Nhưng Kyo đã quyết định in số lượng nhiều hơn một chút và ký tặng cảm ơn tất cả những tấm lòng vàng có đóng góp và chia sẻ cùng chương trình #dọcmiềnnắnggió lần này, đó là lời tri ân sâu sắc từ Đại sứ của Quỹ khi nhận được tình cảm san sẻ của mọi người.
Đây là bản in nghệ thuật có giá trị lưu giữ nội bộ, độc đáo và đầy kỷ niệm. Kyo rất trân trọng "tác phẩm" có số lượng giới hạn này, hy vọng nó sẽ góp nhặt thêm nhiều yêu thương để chắp cánh ước mơ cho nhiều hoàn cảnh đặc biệt của các bạn học sinh - sinh viên tại Miền trung yêu dấu, nơi hứng chịu nhiều thiên tai hằng năm.

"Bangladesh, February 7th, 2016. The director of the Bangladesh Central Bank got off the elevator on the ninth floor, and headed to the back office of the Accounts and Budgeting Department. This was the most restricted part of the building. He was there to deal with a problem,m one that had been plaguing the office the last few days. You see, the printer wasn’t working, and this was kind of a big deal. It was causing a real disruption. The automated printer, which was hooked up to the bank’s software, was supposed to work round the clock 24/7, printing out the bank’s transaction reports in real-time. Due to this technical glitch however, the printer tray remained empty. Much of the day was spent trying to fix the issue;,and after a great deal of effort there was success. They were able to restart the printer. And so the backlog of transaction reports started rolling out, one by one. Now, it soon became apparent that something wasn’t quite right. There were more statements than expected..."

This year, from April to August, was the darkest time, but also the transformational moment of my life when this channel, "AnDyWuMUSICLAND," literally came from death to life. We've learnt how to "Fight For Love" in 2015, how to deal with the loss when "We Were Young" in 2016, but every time, in next phase of our lives, there are always different, unexpected challenges for us to confront.
The most important thing is: how do we deal with the struggle? When I was trapped in the hard feelings and asking "what have I done," "why did this world do this to me?" I almost didn't wanna fight anymore. I truly said a couple of times that "I wouldn’t do mashups anymore." and "There's no way I would release Mashup 2017." However, seeing how Ariana Grande fought against the terrorists with "One Love Manchester" gave me the whole new point of view. I realized that we could be sad, scared and devastated, but after all, we still need love, music, and connections with people to give us a cathartic experience. That's how we become and stronger.
"If we never learn, we been here before. Why are we always stuck and running from the bullets?" We cannot choose the challenges we are faced with, but if there's love, we can steer how it goes. In the end, we all have to thank, "Perfect Struggle," to make us perfect, and move on to the next stage of life.
(In August, I also made a short film called "Reconnection," directed & written by me, using an abstract way to express the intimate feeling of me during the dark time. And this film will be premiered on this channel soon as well. Hope you will like it!)
