【世界貘日愛地球－插畫家參與保育 World Tapir Day－Love Earth】
近年來全球有越來越多公益團體，開始從不同角度關注地表生態環境、水資源、生物多樣性及野生動植物保育等議題。動物園今年度首度將4月22日「World Earth Day世界地球日」與4月27日「World Tapir Day世界貘日」的概念結合，由居住在熱帶雨林裡的「貘」擔任親善大使，以多元有趣的方式讓民眾參與、認識「貘」的保育，並了解生態環境與保護地球的重要性；即日(4月17日)起至4月30日止，舉辦「世界貘日愛地球」系列保育活動，歡迎大家一起來玩！

【推「解開昆蟲密碼」特展－宣導生物多樣性保育 Exhibition：Revealing the Hidden Code of Insects】
5月22日是國際生物多樣性日，動物園今年讓演化上極為古老、種類及數量稱霸、身影遍佈各類生態環境的「昆蟲」擔任代言動物，推出－「解開昆蟲密碼－昆蟲多樣性探索」特展。希望讓大家能重新認識、了解昆蟲多樣性的開始，而不再是才見面就急著祭出無影腳或殺蟲劑。此外，在動物園的教育中心和非洲動物區還有「看見生命．展現生命」攝影特展喔！歡迎大家一起來參觀！
動物園邀請各位，一同認真思考「世界動物園暨水族館協會 World Association of Zoos and Aquariums」推展生物多樣性保育的主題－「生物多樣性取決於你我 Biodiversity is Us 」。
